THE USEFUL DETAILS

Website privacy policy

How BinMate’s website handles technical requests, support emails and your privacy rights.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Anas Hafidi. For privacy questions, contact contact@binmate.co.uk. This notice covers binmate.co.uk. The mobile app has a separate app privacy policy.

2. Information and purposes

When you visit, our host, Vercel, processes your IP address, requested page, browser information and request time to deliver and secure the site. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure website.

If you email us, we process your address, message and attachments to respond and investigate your enquiry. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in helping you, or compliance with a legal obligation for certain privacy requests. Please include only information relevant to your enquiry.

3. Cookies and search

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies, embed tracking pixels or load third-party fonts. The collection preview and navigation work in your browser without sending your choices to us. Guide search runs locally against a downloaded search index; search terms are not sent to a search provider. See Cookies & storage.

4. Providers and sharing

Vercel hosts the website. Our email provider processes messages you send to us. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. External links, including the App Store, take you to services with their own policies.

Vercel uses international infrastructure. Details of its processing and transfer arrangements are in Vercel’s privacy notice. Where our use of a provider requires a restricted transfer, we must use a mechanism permitted by applicable data-protection law. You can request details of the arrangements relevant to your information.

5. Retention

Technical records follow the host’s logging and security retention arrangements. We retain correspondence while needed to resolve your enquiry, handle any follow-up or comply with a legal obligation. The period depends on the type of request and whether a dispute or legal duty requires continued retention. You can contact us to ask about or request deletion of a particular record.

6. Your rights

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email contact@binmate.co.uk. We may ask for information needed to verify your request and normally respond within one month, explaining any lawful extension. You may also complain to the ICO or your local regulator.

7. Changes

We will update this notice if the site’s data handling changes. We will obtain consent before introducing technologies that legally require it.
