Will BinMate work for my address?

Enter your UK postcode in the app to check. Collection lookup is available for supported councils and addresses. If we cannot find a reliable schedule, we will tell you.

What happens around bank holidays?

BinMate displays the dates returned by the collection service. There is no single bank-holiday rule for every council. Refresh your schedule and check your council’s own notices for last-minute changes.

Can I use it without an internet connection?

After setup, you can view your saved schedule offline. You need a connection to find an address or refresh collection dates. Open the app regularly to keep your schedule and reminders up to date.

Do I need an account?

No account or sign-up is needed. Your home and preferences are saved on your device. Postcode and property details are sent to the BinMate collection service to find your schedule.

Can I download BinMate on Android?

Yes. BinMate is available on Google Play for Android and the App Store for iPhone. Choose your store using the download buttons on this page. Features and appearance can vary by platform and app version.
